Sorry, no. We start with a free initial online consultation where we can get to know each other as we go over your goals, history and program recommendations. This will give you a good sense if we work well together and move forward with a program. You are not locked into any contract so if you don't think we are a great fit together after a few sessions you are welcome to cancel at any time.
If you are working with me in person, I have some equipment that I can provide during our sessions. If you are planning to do extra workouts on your own or are performing workouts through an online program, then you will want to have some basic equipment such as dumbbells or resistance bands.
This depends on the client and their goals. It is encouraged that everyone get some form of cardiovascular based activity 3-5 days per week.
This depends on so many factors so there is no real answer I can give you. I feel like most people see an increase in their energy levels after 2 weeks of consistent work. If your goal is gaining muscle or losing weight is may take you up to 12 weeks of consistent work to see real change in inches and body fat composition.
This depends on the client, program and their goals. Almost all my clients are encouraged to do extra activity or exercises when they are not working out with me. I do assign most of my clients extra work to do.
Our online sessions are done using the Zoom online software. You can do this via your phone, tablet or computer that has a camera. Finding a space in your home or garage where you have room to move and placing the camera device at a distance where I can see you is the goal. We are able to work on this in the first real session and all my clients get used to this set up and technology quite quickly.
I have been giving online workouts for quite some time so I have learned how to make it as easy as possible to show my clients the moves and offer helpful cues when a client needs to make form adjustments.
I have an ISSA certificate in Sport Nutrition; however, I am not a Registered Dietician or Nutritionist. I cannot assign you a formal meal plan, however I have guides available on my website that provide ideas and suggestions for healthy meals and snacks. I will also continually discuss nutrition with my clients as part of the program and this leads to more accountability, so you get the best results.
We will go over this during our sessions together.
All my clients pay for their programs via the Venmo payment app that can be accessed through your phone. Payment is requested before your program will begin and on the 1st of each month after that. If you are a local client that I meet in person you may qualify to pay me via personal check on a case-by-case basis.
I don't have any current local in-person group sessions available, but I can offer a group rate if requested for groups that are interested.
